Her photo work has been featured in many magazines around the world. She has many photo books to her credit including two coffee table books – ‘Flora’ and ‘Natura.’ Two other books featuring her works of Reford Gardens made the best sellers lists in 2004 and 2005. She contributes to guide books of gardens in Quebec. She is also very involved, photographically, with two quite new books – “Near and Far” and “Jewels of Hawai’i.”
Louise teaches her own workshops as well as for other clients. She is a regular public speaker and also leads trips to wonderful far away places.
“Is this a digital or film course?”
It is a photography course – about creating better pictures. The emphasis is on your skills behind the camera and your ability to effectively use the camera you have. Digital cameras will make in-the-field critique easier. Film shooters are very welcome. We recommend that you bring an SLR camera with a macro lens. A tripod is not mandatory but recommended.
