World Cup soccer, daring mid-air maneuvres and high emotion are currently showing at Collected-Works. Students of the Event Photography Workshop run by HarryNowell.com present work from a FIFA U-20 exhibition game - many thanks to the Canadian Soccer Association and Headshots Rentals for their contributions!

The Photography Event
In this Event Photography Workshop we experience the whirlwind of photographing an international soccer match from field level with media passes. You will be challenged by capturing pictures of elite athletes or challenging yourself to look for other action - not all the action happens on the field! More challenges will be determining the best opportunities for shooting, timing (you cannot ask the striker to "do that again"!), managing equipment and your skills!
Course Outline
On this course you can learn:
- photography techniques for sport
- assessing the event to maximize your time
- staying comfortable - we may be shooting in any weather - a challenge to stay comfortable!
- managing your equipment - we will discuss appropriate equipment and techniques to keep everything working well
- opportunities for selling your work
