What past students said
“Learning a whole new aspect of photography – very exciting! I have never before taken photos at night – (successfully!) and it is becoming more like ‘art’, which is one of my favorite outcomes of this course. Harry is an awesome teacher. I give him 10/10!”
SS
“The course is designed to teach new photo techniques at night and I must say, this the most fun I’ve ever had in a photo workshop.”
BM
“I REALLY REALLY had a wonderful time.”

What you will learn
- creative observation – opening eyes and imagination!
- better ideas to capture urban lights
- assessing appropriate exposures & compositions
- light painting techniques
- choosing equipment for night light
“Is this a digital or film course?” It is a photography course – about creating better pictures. The emphasis is on your skills behind the camera and your ability to effectively use the camera you have. Many participants bring digital cameras. Many choose film. Some bring both! For Night Light there are benefits to film cameras – please inquire. Having people with both technologies on a course helps to compare the differences. Do not worry about your equipment – all you need is a 35mm SLR camera and lens(es) – no “point and shoot” cameras please.
